Achieving that Entrepreneur Mindset

To be a successful entrepreneur, you must have the entrepreneur mindset. You need to condition your mind that you are in this for the long run. Try to think of it as a career. What better way to start than with some significant self-improvement?

Dabbling in network marketing is enough to “wet the beak”, as the saying goes, but in order to realize the full potential of any enterprise, you must also apply your full potential.

Your Greatest Asset is You

Success does not come easy. You have to have hard work and tons of luck. When opportunity comes a’knocking, you have to give it your best shot. As they say, nothing worth winning is won by half measures.

You are your biggest asset because you are constant and your worth will never decrease. Whatever investment you put into educating yourself will affect your total value. You alone are perennial, and everyone else is just expendable.

Work for It

Getting the entrepreneur mindset does not happen in a flash. It is an ongoing learning process, so there is always something new to be learned everyday.

Read up on books that can enhance your entrepreneur mindset. After all, knowledge comes from reading. You might want to pick a few of these titles to get your started:

- How to Make Millions with Your Ideas: An Entrepreneur’s Guide by Dan Kennedy

- 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss

- Rich Dad’s Cashflow Quadrant by Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad

- Magic Words that Bring You Riches (Ted Nicholas)

- Dan Kennedy’ No B.S. Time Management for Entrepreneurs

- Think and Grow Rich (Napoleon Hill)

- Hyrum Smith’s 10 Natural Laws of Successful Time and Life Management

- Meatball Sunday and others by Seth Godin

- Reality Check by Guy Kawasaki

- Toilet Paper Entrepreneur (Mike Michalowicz)

You might also try attending seminars, or browsing the Web to get into the entrepreneur mindset. Ask yourself if network marketing really is the venture for you. More often than not, things just can’t work if your heart, as well as your entrepreneur mindset, are not truly in it.

Good advice about reading more and learning more to help put some muscle on the ol’ entrepreneurial skeleton. It’s a great way to feed and strengthen the entrepreneurial mindset.
