Give Network Marketing Training to Your Downline

Untrained downline members can be fairly important problems for many network marketers. You must educate your downline and tell them about the program and its commission plan but don’t stop there! You also need to teach them how to execute a real marketing system.

If you don’t understand why you should bother doing that, think about the most common complaints received by upline members: representatives don’t know how or where to find leads, representatives can’t start a downline, representatives aren’t successful.

What do all of these complaints have in common? Inadequate training and the lack of a definite marketing system. You can’t blame your downline or tell yourself that they’re not enthusiastic enough. They joined, didn’t they? They also want to succeed as much as you do. When people can’t see a path to success, they get discouraged and lose motivation.

You need to step in and show them how to succeed. You have to teach them your mlm marketing system (even if you don’t think you have one). Think about it and break it down into step-by-step instructions. How do you generate leads? How do you follow up? How do you get your conversion rate to be high? Train your downline to duplicate your marketing system and they too will succeed.

While you could spend some quality one-on-one time with each person in your downline, you can also automate this process using an e-mail list. Work hard once to get all of your instructions down on the screen then blast off a group email to everyone in your downline or use an autoresponder. It’s simple but it can have a large impact on the success of your downline and your success.

You have to help your downline if you want to help yourself. Give them proper training on a successful marketing system and set them up for success!
