How to Keep Your MLM Business Prospects On the Edge of Their Seats

Tom Schreiter is an expert at keeping MLM business leaders really interested when a networker presents a product or business opportunity. In a recent interview with Mark “Google Superman” Davis, Tom talked about various techniques people like you could use to keep MLM prospects interested during a presentation for MLM products or business opportunities. This article will focus on two hot techniques that he mentioned during the interview: how to use stories and how to use a top 10 list.

Hot Technique No. 1 – Tell a Story
Stories have a way to engage listeners. Start your presentation with a story and your prospects will want to find out how the story ends! Use words that appeal to all five senses if you can and the prospects can more easily be pulled into your story. You can also set the story in the physical area where your prospects live. Try using sentences such as “When I was in…” or “While I was… I noticed that…” Include a few interesting details about something that they know and care about. If you don’t have a story, feel free to use someone else’s story.

Hot Technique No. 2 – Top Ten List
Most people love top ten lists as they involve following current trends and popular ideas. People are also curious so satisfy their curiosity by talking about other people’s opinions and ideas into your top ten lists. Do your research and look up some statistics. Get them hooked with a sentence that starts with “Based on1000 people that were surveyed about weight loss, the top ten reasons why people can’t seem to lose weight are…” Anchor your facts on some sort of research.

Here are a few examples of top ten lists that you can use for your MLM business:

-Top ten reasons why your boss doesn’t want you to quit your job.

-Top ten reasons why Jamaican hill coffee is better than Kenya coffee.

-Top ten ways to start a business and keep it running three years from now.

-Top ten tax-reduction tips.

-Top ten methods to lose weight without changing your eating habits.

-Top ten ways to eat donuts while keeping a thin waistline.

-Top ten ways to spend the extra money from your business opportunity.

-Top ten ways to get in shape without going to a gym.

-Top ten places to visit before you die.

As you can see, you can pretty much create top ten lists from anything. Your MLM business prospect will enjoy these top ten lists as they get factual information (research your facts!) and it keeps them interested. Don’t you want to know what the No. 1 is?
