How should you proceed with network marketing lead generation?

Before spending any money on network marketing lead generation, you need to look at your options and ask questions.

Is MLM advertising necessary in the first place? The last few years have given MLM businesses a black eye thanks to fake promises of freedom and financial success. Most people haven’t achieved a high level of success in any MLM business. And for those who did achieve success, few have maintained it over a long period of time.

With all that in mind, it doesn’t mean that all MLM companies are bad and it doesn’t make it false to say that the average person could afford MLM and that they could earn additional income and their lifestyle could positively be affected. If you want your network marketing business to boom, you must focus on network marketing lead generation for two main reasons:

1. By doing so, you don’t have to stick to approaching your friends and family. They may have witnessed your previous unsuccessful MLM attempts (or someone else’s) and your credibility may not be so good anymore. Get some new leads from people you don’t know.

2. Successful MLM lead generation is duplicable. This means that you can teach the people in your downline how to go about it. All successful network marketing business people will agree that duplication is one of the main components of success. Anyone can easily buy leads and talk to them over the phone or send emails with the use of an auto-responder.

What can you do once you have a successful network marketing lead generation program in place? You must look at the results. Keep the following factors in mind and carefully choose the source of your leads:

1. Many lead vendors keep selling their lists over and over again. Your prospect has probably been marketed to already. Try to get exclusive leads.

2. Are your leads for mlm fresh? It’s better to contact someone who has shown interest in your business in the last 24 hours as opposed to the last 24 days. Get them while they’re fresh!

3. Is your mlm lead generation budget going a long way? How many leads can you get for your money? Try to get as many as you can, especially in the beginning or when you’re helping people in your downline get started.

4. How good are your leads for mlm? Try to get a phone number and email address as well as a few longer answers to questions such as “How much do you want to invest at first?” or “When do you want to start?” or “When do you like to be contacted?” The more you know, the better.

5. What’s your response rate? Your response rate will improve along with your MLM lead generation skills. Fresher, higher quality leads will normally give you a better response rate even if your skills are basic.
