Why People Fail In Network Marketing
Here are a few reasons why people fail in Network Marketing:
1. No support from your upline.
Good MLM organizations know that new comers need help and may be vulnerable at the beginning. Therefore, the people that recruited these new comers (their upline) should actively help them out. When uplines are recruiting like crazy, they may forget to take care of those that they have already recruited. In typical MLM marketing programs, the new person normally gets immediate assistance from someone in his or her local community or from training tools that may be available. Without support from your upline, your chances of survival are very slim.
2. MLM marketers can’t sell.
Lack of salesmanship may be the most common reason why people fail at network marketing. Use standard MLM techniques and learn how to sell. Practice in front of the mirror and use every speaking opportunity you have to get your sales pitch across.
3. MLM marketers can’t generate quality leads.
This would be the second most common reason for failure. When new comers get started with MLM businesses, they are excited. They read every manual, go to all meetings and keep being told to talk about their products with everyone they meet. They are uncomfortable with the idea and even lose sleep because of the stress it ads to their life. They see it as imposing on their friends. If this is the case for you, present your idea to total strangers!
4. The system isn’t easy to duplicate.
If your MLM marketing company requires expensive promotion methods, this won’t be easy to duplicate for everyone. Learning about selling, speaking and conducting an opportunity meeting is simply not duplicative as very few people can do it. Keep it easy and simple to duplicate and you won’t die on the vine.
5. Selling by mail using standard MLM techniques.
Traditional MLM marketing requires you to spend all your spare time calling around and traveling around to find prospects. Most people already have full time jobs, so it’s hard to find extra time to find prospects. This is the reason why these MLM marketers fail.
6. The MLM marketer is unsure about his marketing company.
People sometimes sign up for MLM businesses on the spur of the moment. When the excitement fades away, they aren’t so sure of their choice anymore… By choosing an established and financially sound MLM company that offers quality products or services and has been around for at least two years, you stand a better chance of success. You must feel good about the company and products you are recommending.
7. Quitting.
You have to be persistent and stick with it long enough in order to be successful. Building any kind of successful business takes time, and MLM marketing program is no exception. Take your time and study the program and its literature. Work hard a time and spend time and effort. Generate leads and keep going!
It will likely take quite a few months before you start to succeed with your MLM marketing. You must commit to stick to it for a significant period of time. It makes perfect business sense!
