Will You Become A Great MLM Sponsor?

Your sponsor,when you started your mlm business, eagerly signed you up and advised you to start recruiting in your business. What kind of MLM sponsor will you be to your recruits? It may be directly related to what kind of MLM sponsor you have.

Now, it must be remembered that a sponsor is somewhat like a parent. They brought you into this MLM business opportunity, so now what are they going to do to help you become successful?

The MLM sponsor, responsible for bringing you into the business, must now assume the roles of mentor and cheerleader. You will need to informed and guided onto the right path by him. When you've fallen off the path, he must instruct and admonish you in order to put you back on it.

Mentor

An MLM sponsor has more experience in this MLM business opportunity than you do, so they indeed do have that important information to teach you.

However, they also have the duty of teaching you the important aspects of making yourself look like a leader to prospects, such as confidence, knowledge and the ability to add value to oneself.

These aspects are very important to a new recruit. There may be times when their level of confidence will be low. This could be due either to the lack of good prospects, or assuming the greater responsibility of training their own new recruits.

Cheerleader

An MLM sponsor has to basically nursemaid their new recruits until they have enough confidence and knowledge to work the business on their own. There are 3 ways to do it: 3 way calls, conference calls and webinars/teleseminars.

The recruit is ready when he MLM sponsor starts to pull away from that recruit, believing that the recruit is ready to perform at least some leadership tasks. Your recruit can then bring in his own recruits and train them, using the knowledge and skills taught to him by you, his MLM sponsor.

The sponsor then becomes a cheerleader. At the beginning, he advises the recruit often, but even less as time goes by.

The MLM sponsor's role as a cheerleader is to keep the positive energy going. The recruit needs support to let his new recruits know that the business opportunity has a real support system and that this system will help keep them from failing. In the future, everyone will benefit from solid team building.
